Jozef Gašpierik (* 1983) is the representative of contemporary Czechoslovak painting. His artwork is clear and straightforward; combined techniques consisting of rich pasty coatings of acrylic and in connection with the subtle line of ink are unmistakable. In addition to the canvas as a backing material, he also uses wood-fiber boards to distort scratches and cuts without compromising the complexity of the overall artwork. Although the formality gradually abstracts, the continuous inspiration of Cubism is still evident in Jozef's work.

1st place
As part of the exhibition of photographs organized by Fotoklub RK 1924 with the support of the town of Ružomberok & Rob Kolár, my photograph entitled "I Scream Because I Can!" was awarded and in the photographic competition it took 1st place in the category My Family, Work, Vacation.
